October Forum Update

Admin:
The weather is changing; fall is in the air and I finally have time to spend on upgrading the site. Here's a few changes I made so far:

   :b4: Added icons to the category list with some cool animation to highlight the categories with new posts.
   :b4: Updated the forum software (and 5 modifications, which cost me $130) to the latest version.
   :b4: Streamlined the code for handling BBC's in messages, freeing up server resources which helped increase the overall speed

Things in the pipeline:

   :b3: Updating the classified ad section - each user will be able to have their own 'mini store' to sell their items.  :)
   :b3: Finally getting the store online - Used records, cassettes and CD's will be available - plus DAT tape/cassette/vinyl archiving services
   :b3: Adding style to the tags page
   :b3: Adding a paid 'Premiere' user membership which will help cover the costs of running the site and give you access to hidden features and discussion areas
   :b3: And a whole lot more!

I'm also experimenting with the overall design of the theme - different colors & sizes, layout, etc. so don't be surprised if you see changes here and there. If you have any suggestions on the look and feel of the forum - feel free to let me know by sending me a PM or replying to this post.
