Title: Great Demonstration of Vinyl vs CD
Post by: BSD2000 on January 09, 2014, 07:44:46 PM
Found this on YouTube:

David Bowie - Changes - Hunky Dory (1971) - Vinyl vs CD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CH8Wc_kX6bY#ws)

IMHO, the vinyl wins by a landslide! The vinyl sounds so alive - it makes you want to turn it up. The CD sounds so dull, compressed and thin. Blah!

What do you think?

I think I may put together a couple vinyl vs CD comparison videos for YouTube.  :)

Well, that 1999 CD reissue seems to be poorly mastered, but from my experience, a well mastered LP will kill a well mastered CD anytime. That's why I'm selling my CD collection.
