Title: Video of McIntosh factory
Post by: BSD2000 on April 20, 2012, 12:28:29 PM
A local news piece on the McIntosh Audio factory in Binghamton, NY.  ;D

My neighbor has a McIntosh system (preamp, amp) that sounds fantastic. I own a six channel McIntosh car audio amp (MCC406) that sounds amazing.

I have or had mixed feelings about Mcintosh. I almost bought one of their poweramps about a year ago over at Terry DeWick's but decide not to and stuck with my Denon POA 1500. I guess people love that fat warm sound and decide that's what Audiophile equipment is suppose to sound like? It might be why most people don't like full range speakers because Our brains or hearing tends to like a slightly higher treble or deeper bass. I would have to try one out in my system and see if it fits my taste. Those big blue meter do look BEAUTIFUL!
