soundstagedirect has been offering Free Shipping with order over 24.99 for awhile now..

I placed an order with Soundstage Direct on 11/22 and I have yet to hear back from them if it shipped or not. When I check online, they list my order as 'confirmed', and that's it. The only email message they sent was that they received my order.

I have ordered from them in the past and so far the service has been hit or miss. Sometimes they ship my order within a day or two, other times it sits in limbo for days before they ship. I can understand if one of the items was not available or back ordered, but they should at least tell me what's going on.

They do have a nice selection and decent prices but from my experience, the service can be frustrating.

I've had the same exact experience with Soundstage. One time they even offered me a free LP, I was so pissed. They held mu order for three weeks.

I'm still waiting, no word about my order.   >:(

They must still be in business - they update their Facebook page every few days. They have time for that, but not to send out orders.  ::)

I sent them an email asking for a status update 4 days ago, I guess their spam filter threw it away.

What did you order? I know some of their Imports takes awhile. I waited three weeks For a CLifford Brown Lp from Speaker Corner. I grabbed the last Love Supreme (Speaker Corner) before it went back to 7-10 days shipping.

Just a couple of Stevie Ray Vaughn LP's - all of which they listed as 'In stock, usually ships within one business day' when I placed the order. Now, one of them is listed as 'Usually ships in 7-10 business days'. Go figure.

I don't mind waiting as long as they inform you why you are waiting.

I wish there was an easy way to cancel my order - like a 'cancel order' button or something. I really don't look forward to talking to them over the phone.  :(

After sending two emails requesting the status from my order - both going unanswered, I'm ready to cancel. The 'info@soundstagedirect.com' email address must be bogus, unless you are inquiring about placing and order.  ::)

Hey, maybe they read my message here! I just got an email and they are shipping one of the two records I ordered today. They say the second album won't be in till next week.

At least there's some activity now and I know what's going on.  :)

Well, I finally received my order from Soundstage Direct! Better late then never I suppose.  ;D

The record that was causing the delay was the 'Tron: Legacy' soundtrack. It's a limited edition (numbered) and was a special order. I received # 4476 of 9072. Some people hate the new Tron movie, I actually liked it - especially the atmospheric music by Daft Punk.

The other record I got was Albert King with Stevie Ray Vaughn. I opted for the 33 edition, not the 45rpm because I didn't want to spend the money.  :D  I'm saving my money for the 45rpm release of 'The Sky is Crying', which is due out Spring 2012.

I haven't received Ballad yet but received the order after it. , There is a first time for everything.  I had send one because of this:

Hopefully they have a replacement in stock  :o

It's pre-aged, complete with water and mold stains! Maybe new old-stock?   ;)

I had a listen to the two albums I got last night. The Tron soundtrack sounds fantastic; really deep bass, smooth, clear midrange and clean, sweet highs. Even though most of the music is digital and synthetic, it sounds so much better then the audio from the Bluray movie I have.

Albert King and Stevie Ray Vaughn: in Session sounds amazing. A little light on the bass, but it sounds like both of them are right in front of you, jamming away. The spacial cues and soundstage are very realistic. I can only imagine how good the 45RPM release sounds.
