Has anyone tried this?

Cartridge Demagnetization

I would love to see the inside of the Benz-Aesthetix MC cartridge demagnetizer. How complex can it be for $199?

I never heard of demagging a cartridge but the Vinyl. Classic records looked into this and produced the "CLARITY Vinyl Formula" which doesn't use magnetic metal particles like Black Vinyl.
